I’ve been cross stitching since sixth grade. What started out as a project for home economics class developed into an annual pieces for my grandmothers, and then eventually into me selling pieces online and through my website. My new goal is to create submissions for my state and county fairs. I focus on snarky, fun and cute pieces. I tend to stay away from full coverage or overly large pieces simply because I don’t have room for them right now. But if there’s something you set on having, let me know and I can work on it for you.
I’m a mom to two adult daughters. My oldest is an artist with high functioning autism. She focuses on wool felting, but is also creating a digital portfolio to start a tattoo apprenticeship. My youngest is a soccer goalkeeper in college. She’s been playing for 13 years. Previous to college, she also played football for two years on her high school team. My girls are pretty much opposite into the spectrum, but both balanced parts of me.
Overall, stitching is still a hobby. But I do take commissions for personalized pieces like wedding or birth remembrances. Just shoot me a message and I’ll see what I can do! Thanks for stopping by.
